Ian Dewson - Tips For Motivating Clients As A Personal Trainer

Ian Dewson recently became certified as a personal trainer. His duties as such include motivating his clients to do better and put in the work. This can be tricky and every client is different. If you need help motivating your clients, these tips can help.

Ian Dewson

Set Goals
Make sure you set realistic goals for your clients. If you make the goals too impossible they will fail and may lose their motivation. By helping them set goals they can meet, they will feel empowered and want to try harder.

Offer Rewards
If your clients meet their weight loss or fitness goals and you want to continue to encourage them, offer rewards for their success. Even something simple such as a water bottle or t-shirt can be enough to motivate someone to continue to work hard.

Constructive Criticism
You want to tell your clients when they are doing something wrong, but you also don't want to discourage them from working to lose weight and get fit. Make sure you correct them in a positive way. Offer tips and advice in a way that will show them how to do things right without making them feel bad for doing them wrong.

Ian Dewson likes working with different clients and helping them meet their fitness goals. He uses a variety of techniques to help motivate them and push them until they see results. The above tips can help you motivate your own clients.

Ian Dewson - Tips For Camping With Your Family

Ian Dewson loves camping with his family. They have gone camping at many campgrounds and look forward to visiting many more. If you are planning a camping trip with your family and want to make the most of it, the following tips can help.

Ian Dewson Let Everyone Help

When you get to your campsite you will have a lot of things to do. To make everyone feel helpful and keep everyone busy, let everyone have a job or task. Someone can unpack the food and cooking items, someone can set up the tent and someone can collect firewood.

Be Prepared

You don’t want to get to your campsite and realize that you forgot something you need. Make a list of things you need to bring and double check that list before you leave. You should also ask your family members to make their own lists of things to bring and check them twice as well.

Enjoy Nature

When you go camping you may be tempted to bring a lot of electronics or other things to make the trip more enjoyable, but nature has plenty to offer. Instead of bringing a lot of things from home, try to find things to do outdoors to keep your family entertained.

Ian Dewson has always enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his children. Camping is something his whole family enjoys and looks forward to. If you want to take your family on a camping trip, the above tips can help.

Ian Dewson - Tips To Strengthen Your Abs

Ian Dewson likes to work out and be in the best shape possible. He is a certified personal trainer who spends a lot of time helping his clients get in shape. He helps them work on their entire bodies and also shows them how to focus on specific areas. Many people want to strengthen their abs. These tips can help you do just that.

 Ian Dewson

Eat Plenty Of Fiber

Fiber can help flatten your stomach and improve your abs because it helps with digestions. Leafy green vegetables are a great source of fiber and are also low in calories. Since you will want to be eating a lot of vegetables to help you stay lean, you may as well focus on the ones that are full of fiber. Broccoli, kale, cabbage, collard greens and spinach are all great examples of leafy greens that are high in fiber.

Avoid Sugar

Sugar not only contains a lot of calories; it also stops your metabolism from working properly. Your metabolism is what transforms calories into energy and if it isn't working, you aren't burning calories and could be gaining weight. Sugar is often found in the food and drinks you least expect. Make sure you read the nutrition labels on anything you eat or drink and avoid those with too much sugar.

Jog Or Run

If you want to strengthen your abs and be able to notice your ab muscles, you need to burn off all the fat on your body and around your midsection. This can take time and patience and a lot of exercise. You should run or jog to get your heart rate up and burn calories. The more you run and jog, the more calories you will burn and the more weight you will lose. You will begin to notice your midsection is looking lean and eventually you will notice your ab muscles.

Exercise

There are many exercises that focus on the abs and stomach muscles and you will need to do some of them every day or several days a week if you want to see results. Crunches, planks, hip raises, and knee lifts are great ways to strengthen your abs and build your muscles. You can also get creative and come up with your own exercises that will improve your core muscles.

Working on your physical fitness will help you get healthier both physically and mentally. If you want to get into shape and improve the strength of your abs, the above tips can help. Remember the more you exercise, the stronger you will become. Everyone wants rock hard abs, but not everyone is willing to work for them. Make sure you are willing to put in the time and effort to get the results you want.

He became a certified personal trainer so he could offer tips and advice and work with each person to help them learn to be healthy and fit.

Take The Appropriate Classes
You will need to take classes that prepare you to become a personal trainer. You can find an organization that will offer classes, study guides and practice tests and help prepare you to become certified. You will need to pay close attention in these classes because they will cover the topics you need to test on.

Take The Certification Exam
Once you have completed all of the necessary classes, you will be able to take your exam. You will need to pay for the exam or in some cases your class fees may also include your exam fees. If you do not pass the test the first time, you will need to pay to take it again. You can find practice tests online to help you prepare for your test before you take it.

Start Applying For Jobs
Once you have passed your exam it is time to start looking for a job. You can create a resume that outlines your skills and certification and pass them out to local gyms and fitness centers. You can also ask for applications or look for job openings online. Some gyms may be looking for a specific type of personal trainer and you may need to take more classes even after you have passed your certification exam.

Open Your Own Gym
If you want to be your own boss and feel that you have the experience and skills to operate your own business you may want to consider opening your own gym. This will allow you to use your certification to help people and allow you to set your own hours and prices. Keep in mind that owning your own gym will come with a lot of responsibilities and you may need to hire other people to help you operate it. Most personal trainers work for others for several years before they decide to open their own business.

If you love to work out and know how to motivate others to work out and eat healthy to get into shape, you may want to consider becoming a certified personal trainer. Becoming a personal trainer isn’t hard and once you become certified you can make a living doing what you love and helping others. Follow the tips above to learn how to get certified today.

Ian Dewson Works the Background of Sport - Sun Life Stadium

Sun Life Stadium has been the venue for historic sporting events in the United States. Five Super Bowls: XXIII, XXIX, XXXIII, XLI and XLIV, the 2010 Pro Bowl, the 1997 and 2003 World Series, four Bowl Championship Series National Championship Games in 2001, 2005, 2009 and 2013, second round of the 2009 World Baseball Classic, and the WrestleMania XXVIII have all enjoyed the Sun Life Stadium facility. Sun Life Stadium is also being considered for the Super Bowls of 2019 and 2020. Originally built to house the perennial presence, 21 seasons, of the Miami Dolphins at the Orange Bowl, what was then Joe Robbie Stadium was built at the behest of its namesake, Miami Dolphins founder Joe Robbie. Looking ahead to inevitable arrival of a Major League Baseball team in south Florida, Joe Robbie Stadium was built a bit wider than most NFL stadiums, a design plan which makes the stadium more amenable to conversions for different sports.

Ian Dewson
The Florida Marlins were born with Joe Robbie Stadium as their home field for the first game in 1993, and minimal renovations were necessary to convert the Stadium for baseball thanks to the foresight of Joe Robbie. The remodeling of the sidelines to narrow the field and bring seats closer to play after the Marlins left the Stadium have since ended the field’s versatility for baseball. Despite ongoing renovations which will reduce the Stadium’s capacity to 65,000, the Sun Life Stadium where Ian Dewson added a whole new dimension to his understanding of sport, will always be special to Dewson.

Ian Dewson Enrolls at Nova Southeastern University

Ian Dewson chose Nova Southeastern University to study for his Bachelor’s Degree, a private institution in Davie, Florida.  The name Nova has given way today to NSU, for Nova Southeastern University, which today offers 18 schools with 175 courses of study, allowing students the choice of more than 250 different majors.  Degrees in law, business, osteopathic medicine, allied health, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, physical therapy, occupational therapy and nursing are available from Nova Southeastern, which has recently enrolled 24,148 students.
                                 Ian Dewson
Nova University of Advanced Technology got its start in after World War II, when it was initiated on a former Naval Landing field.  Its first degrees were in physical and social sciences.  Chartered in the state of Florida in 1964, NUAT had a first class of 17 students.  A significant gift of $16 million in 1971 helped fund NSU’s expansions in the 1980’s.  Merging with Southeastern University of Health Sciences in 1994 resulted in its current name, and currently NSU is labeled by Carnegie Foundation as a high research university.

Nova Southeastern University is proud today of its physical campus on the remains of the Naval Outlying Landing Field Forman, purchased from the Forman family of Florida, and NSU has remained true to the promise to the Forman family to use the land for educational purposes.  The South Florida Education Center, of which Nova Southeastern University is a part, also includes Broward College, Florida Atlantic University, McFatter Technical College and the University of Florida.  Original plane taxiways around the airfield are still used as roads on the campus.

The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, where Ian Dewson studied for his Bachelors of Sports Management arose in 2004, housed in the Carl DeSantis Building.  Henry Wayne Huizenga, a businessman and entrepreneur, is or has been the owner of three professional sports franchises, since his days in Fort Lauderdale as a high school football player and class treasurer.  Huizenga’s first business was begun with a single garbage truck, which he called Waste Management, Inc.  This became a Fortune 500 company by Huizenga purchasing various independent garbage companies, 133 in all, until Waste Management became the largest waste disposal company in the United States.  Huizenga followed the same business model with Blockbuster Video, building it into the country’s leading movie rental franchise.  Huizenga built the nation’s largest auto dealer, AutoNation, and is also involved in a variety of auto and parts related operations.

Ian Dewson is deeply dedicated to the progress of sports in his home state of Florida, where H. Wayne Huizenga, whose name identifies the Sports Business School of Dewson’s studies at Nova Southeastern University, developed the Florida Marlins and the Florida Panthers, rendering these sports franchises into profit-making operations.
